IN @ MEGT is our Disability Inclusion and Action Plan (DIAP), a blueprint to foster inclusivity, accessibility and awareness.
Why is the DIAP important?
IN @ MEGT is designed to fulfill our promise of not leaving anyone behind, and a commitment to the inclusion of people with disability. Our actions and initiatives will always be guided by the needs and feedback of our staff and community, and the broader policy and legislative framework.
Our Disability Inclusion Action Plan revolves around these four pillars of inclusion.
Disability inclusive culture
We strive to eliminate barriers and foster awareness for people living with disability. We aim to promote a culture that values inclusive attitudes and behaviours.
Accessible and inclusive workplaces
We are committed to increasing the participation of people living with disability in all facets of MEGT’s operations.
Supporting access to meaningful employment
We believe in the power of diversity and aim to strengthen it by providing training, volunteer opportunities, workplace experience and meaningful employment for people living with disability.
Accessible systems and processes
We understand the importance of easy communication and access to information, and are dedicated to improving our service quality, feedback mechanisms, and staff training.
