About Painting Futures III
MEGT has helped increase employment opportunities for over 250 participants via several Painting Futures programs all over Queensland.
Painting Futures III is an 18-week, full-time traineeship where participants work towards obtaining an in-demand and nationally-recognised qualification.
On-the-job learning includes repainting community housing across the Currajong, Rasmussen, Heatley, Thuringowa and Hyde Park areas.
Participants get to:
- Earn money while learning new skills from experienced tradies
- Undertake a Certificate I in Construction
- Receive full support from First Nations mentors
- Make a meaningful contribution to local communities
- Build work-ready skills to enhance their resume
MEGT provides tailored support throughout and assists with finding employment or apprenticeship opportunities at the completion of the program.
