What does MEGT do?
- Supports more than 110,000 active apprentices and trainees per year
- Recruit, employ and mentor apprentices and trainees who are placed with a host employer through our Group Training Organisation (GTO)
- Offer flexible solutions for apprentice and trainee employment, including group training, recruitment, management and labour hire services
- Assist 4,000 participants via the Federal Government’s Workforce Australia programs
- Deliver state-based employment programs which empower disadvantaged job seekers with education and employment pathways
- Provide School Leavers Employment Services (SLES) for school leavers living with disabilities
- Provide labour hire solutions via our Recruitment and Management Services business

The MEGT difference
As a trusted Apprentice Connect Provider since 1998 and with a history of employing apprentices through our Group Training Organisation (GTO) since 1982, MEGT leverages data-driven decision making and exceptional support services to achieve outstanding apprenticeship completion rates.
With a network of over 50 offices across every state in Australia and the ACT, we have built a strong reputation among all levels of government and established relationships with a diverse range of employers. Our connections extend to more than 3,500 high schools in metropolitan, regional, and remote areas, ensuring broad reach and impactful results.

The MEGT Scholarship Foundation
The MEGT Foundation was launched in 2021 to provide scholarships for women experiencing personal disadvantage to fulfil their career dreams by returning to study.

ISO9001:2015 Certified
Recognition that MEGT’s Apprentice Connect Provider, Recruitment and Management Services (RMS) and Employment Services divisions uphold the highest possible international standards of business and quality management systems. It provides both our customers and other stakeholders with an assurance of commitment to industry-benchmarked standards.

Quality Assurance Framework certified
Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) certification of MEGT’s Employment Services (Workforce Australia or WFA) division supports our commitment to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) quality principals. This sets out the standards of quality for WFA service providers, which drives continuous improvement to the principles which underpin our service delivery model.

Social Traders certified
An established, trusted and world-leading certification for businesses which put people and planet first. It clearly identifies and elevates the social enterprise sector, is tailored to the Australian market, and endorsed by the Social Enterprise World Forum. Social Traders certification is supported by government, leading philanthropists and some of Australia’s largest businesses.

Quality Apprenticeship accreditation 2024
MEGT completed the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations’ (DEWR) ‘Right Fit For Risk’ audit in September 2022. This accreditation is further recognition of the strength of our IT security management systems which support the delivery of Australian Apprenticeship Support Services and other employment services.
