Our tailored recruitment service means we identify motivated candidates for BAE Systems who have a genuine passion for the defence industry.
Our experienced coaches provide intensive support throughout their entire qualification journey, while our advisors keep everyone aligned on goals and expectations, and take care of the paperwork and regulatory requirements.
We also provide professional and reliable advice on every aspect of apprenticeships and traineeships, based on decades of experience. So BAE Systems can focus on nurturing their promising new talent, while growing their business.

MEGT is proud to support the Defence Industry Pathways Program and South Metropolitan TAFE, and we are excited to see what the future holds for our talented trainees.
How MEGT supports the Defence Industry Pathways Program
As the official group training organisation for the Defence Industry Pathways Program in WA, MEGT's Recruitment and Management Services team has placed a number of trainees into the BAE Systems shipbuilding site.
The placement is designed to give trainees hands-on exposure to operations within BAE Systems, and also to pave the way for them to pursue long-term careers within the defence industry, whether at BAE Systems or other host employers.
MEGT's recruitment strategies play a key role in identifying candidates with genuine passion and interest in the defence industry.
This approach maximises trainee engagement and this, in addition to wraparound support from MEGT’s mentoring team, allows BAE Systems, as host employer, to focus on providing trainees with valuable experience, while reducing some of the pressures involved in managing the program.
As well as receiving ongoing mentoring, MEGT’s trainees at BAE Systems are fully supported with professional development along the way.
Upon completion of their work placement and qualifications, the trainees graduate with a 52904WA Certificate III in Defence Industry Pathways, awarded by South Metropolitan TAFE, WA.
