About our partner programs


MEGT partners with employers across a variety of industries, including Manufacturing, Construction, Banking, ICT and Defence.

Our group training model hires apprentices and trainees, placing them with host employers who provide daily supervision, tasks, and training.

How it works

Participants are employed by MEGT, and we will take care of your placement, onboarding, and ongoing support.

You will receive structured training (for example, once a week) with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), like TAFE, and learn skills that are useful for your job.

On other days, you will work with a host employer, gaining hands-on experience in a safe and supportive environment.

After completing the program, you may even be offered a full-time job with the host employer!

Cyber Security Microsoft Traineeship

Defence Industry Pathways Program

This Australian Government initiative enables participants to pursue a 12-month traineeship in Defence Industry Pathways featuring hands-on experience in a range of defence-related industries. These include manufacturing and engineering, computing, logistics, procurement and technical and computer aided drawing.
