MEGT has partnered with Bric Housing, Major Training, and the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training to deliver the Painting Futures V program in Brisbane.

About Painting Futures V

Through our Painting Futures programs all over Queensland, MEGT has helped increase employment opportunities for over 200 participants.

Painting Futures V is an 18-week, full-time traineeship program open to First Nations candidates aged 15 years or over. Participants work towards obtaining an in-demand and nationally-recognised qualification and get to:

  • Earn money while learning new skills from experienced tradies
  • Undertake a Certificate I in Construction
  • Receive full support from First Nations mentors
  • Make a meaningful contribution to local communities
  • Build work-ready skills to enhance their resume

MEGT provides tailored support throughout and assists with finding employment or apprenticeship opportunities at the completion of the program.
