Trading Futures (Construction)

Trading Futures (Construction) is a two-week program suitable for people who have had previous training or are just starting out. 

Throughout the Trading Futures (Construction) program, participants will:

  • Learn how to work safely
  • Gain experience using construction tools and equipment
  • Complete their White Card
  • Develop communication and work-ready skills
  • Be mentored by experienced industry professionals
  • Get supported towards gaining an apprenticeship

Trading Futures (Construction) participants undertake the SSDIS01008 Introduction to Construction Skill Set with Carey Training or Adelaide Training and Employment Centre (ATEC), Trading Future's Registered Training Organisation (RTO) partners.

Trading Futures (Welding)

Trading Futures (Welding) is a three-week program suitable for people who have had previous training or are just starting out.

Trading Futures (Welding) participants will undertake the SSDIS01011 Basic Welding Skills Skill Set with Carey Training or Adelaide Training and Employment Centre (ATEC), Trading Future's Registered Training Organisation (RTO) partners.

MEGT helps people from all backgrounds and abilities, so get in touch if you or someone you know meets the following criteria:

  • Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Live in South Australia
  • Aged 16 or more
  • Have completed Year Ten
  • Not currently enrolled in school
  • Have access to transport to and from training
  • Are willing to undergo pre-employment assessments
  • Willing to work full-time
